Is this Reason? Is it easy to use Reason live?

What can you use it for? Just some base line or are there secret space tricks?

Yes , it's Reason .
Joachim use this software with his Keytar .

actually, joachim has just used abletoin live once with guetta @ redlight in 02/2005.
He is using reason for his lives

He doesn't play the entire track with all the elements (Bass, lead, chorus, snares,... which is impossible unless you have a rythm box) He only plays the Lead Synth notes on the Keytar, then plays on play button on dj decks.

yah, jus what i was getting at,
does joachim sample the keys of the track and assign them to keys (and how is that done?)
otherwise what sort of vst's are being used?

i think..it's just a matter of finding the sound you want and messing with it in something like ableton.

I had a Strings sound today in ableton (it was a stock sound) and made it sound identical to "Strings of life" and was playing that

in Reason?
--> "keyb. control mapping" is for knobs and faders...
dont know if actual keys of keyboard can be programmed, they work like they work in piano...

btw...
what sort of a keys mikroKontrol have? are they like light or "semi-heavy" (donnu if there is a word 'semi-heavy' )
i mean... if u play something, and u move fast from key to another, is it like in real piano or worst??? (i have this cheap midi-keyb. now and it is quite lame...i was thinking of getting mikrokontrol...)

i got myself an Alesis photon x25, i'd definetly go for this option if you want to use it live, when dj'ing etc. not to bulky, good feel on the keys and endless knobs...not to mention the very groovey xyz dome!
