i've been looking at few different midi/control keyboard models...
can someone here recommend/tell if any of these are any good?

- m-audio oxygen8
- m-audio 02
- edirol pcr-1

i've heard few negative words from oxy and pcr... (just different type of keys...)

Joachim's got the oxygen 8 for his live shows, and i've got it as well, for producing, and i'm very happy with it, for the little use i have. :)

Hi,

it's depend for what work !

For the "live show" the Oxygen 8 or others 25 keys are ok but for the studio a 49 or more keys it's more useful, it's depend of your music style as well ... (no many chord > no many keys)

See you

The Oxygen 8 is getting old, it's being obsoleted by many keyboards from E-Mu , Novation, Alesis... have a look!

You won't get an excellent keyboard feel in that price range though, except maybe on the Remote 25.

If you want piano weighted feel, you need to go to the Keystation 88 : not the same size really

You can find more infos about M-audio and Evolution (it's the same factory) on www.maudio.com

MK serie on evolution is good, the look is different than M-audio but it's about the same price : Cheap !
